Re: [volt-nuts] Datron 1271 AC Option

2015-06-20 Thread Ludger . Lenzen
Hi Greg,

Yes, I am open to sell it.

I guess, 350 EURO plus shipment cost is a fair price.
It would come with the required cables, shielding plate and the srews to mount.
I did a short function test in my 1281 and got plausible values.
So I will give also a DOA guarantee with cash-back, if you take shipment cost
for the return.

Installation is not difficult and need a few minutes. But requires a
calibration.
The 1271 service manual is available online at KO4BB.

Would you sell the spare Option 10 and what would you want for this board. I
have purchase a 1271 and would like to get this option to make it a complete
meter.

Re: [volt-nuts] Datron 1271 AC Option

2015-06-20 Thread Tom Knox
There are actually two AC options for the 1271 Option 10 and the high accuracy
option 12 which I believe is the same as in the 1281
If that is true I would assume you could also plug and play a 1281 AC board.
i would need to check my service manuals to be sure.
Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could weigh in.

Re: [volt-nuts] Datron 1271 AC Option

2015-06-10 Thread Electronics and Books via volt-nuts
you just plug it in and apply the calibration. only the current option requires
a jumper on the conversion board otherwise you get an error message about a
fuse.you need to find a unit behind repair with good options.

Re: [volt-nuts] Datron 1271 AC Option

2015-06-10 Thread Ludger . Lenzen
I have one spare (Germany).
The AC option is a board with shields and cables. Simple to plug-in and to
mount at the bottom of the system.
Same as for the current option board.
The 1271/81 detects it when the function is activated.
There is no special requirement or matched version, but for sure you need to
calibrate it.

Does anyone know where I can find the AC option 10/12 board for the Datron
1271. Is it as simple as plugging it in or do you need a matched version with
hardware version?

[volt-nuts] Datron 1271 AC option

2015-06-10 Thread Four Designs Company
It should be plug-and-play, except for the missing cal constants. Also,
I think that the 1081 AC option is the same as used in the 1271. I don't
have the manuals handy, but I believe this is the case.
