I could hope so, in fact, because it could cost Riordon his job. I
don't actually think that way, though. Let's say that it might be a
good thing if Riordan is confronted with his antiscientific attitude
because he makes a fuss with it.
Anyway, perhaps it would be nice for people here to send him a
short, friendly note thanking him.

Second that. Thanks him for last year while you are at it. I assume
that Bernstein is working for the ACS and isn't doing this
independently and without approval. But he should be thanked anyway.
