One thing to note that the contract was formulated that it explicitly
stated that heat was originated from cold fusion reaction. Therefore,
if Rossi gets money and it turns out to be hoax (either falsified
instruments for measuring input power or hidden power source which was
not discovered in October 6th), then it may be considered as a breach
for the contract and the Customer may require full monetary
compensation.

However neither this test nor the contract did not give any evidence
or requirements for long term performance.

Therefore, if this is the most elaborated hoax in history (of free
energy), certainly Rossi is doing it for the sake pleasure to fool
people.

However, it is sad that the method Rossi is doing these things, just
reeks out for a scam. Always too short demonstrations with limited
output, and because they are not independently validated by
scientists, then there is noway that it could be convincing
demonstration for the wide audience.

Ps. There is still lights in the tunnel, because the research contract
with Bologna University should start immediately.

I know Rossi pretty well by now, so I was expecting something like this.
Given who Rossi is and how he thinks, this wasn't a colossal disappointment.
You have to remember, he was under no obligation to let anyone in, or tell
anyone about it. He did us a favor by letting us see it at a distance. By
his lights, he did.

Some good things may come of this, fairly soon. I think it will have a
positive impact. Be of good cheer.

Maybe not.

This test has been a colossal disappointment.
I was hoping for good, reliable, superior calorimetry, and something decisive.
When it began, I was concerned about the steam output being recirculated and
never actually observed. Any measured output over 100C would be considered
complete vaporization, ignoring the fact that it could be 99.9% water outflow
at a slightly elevated boiling point. This would make the idiotic phase-change
calorimetry problems come full circle.
Instead, we in the Peanut Gallery must do exactly what Rossi has always said.
We must wait for the only real evidence that he wants to give us: his satisfied
customers.
Alas, the best I can do is follow Jed's suggestion, and be polite:
"Rossi did not produce any irrefutable proof in this demonstration."
If there is indeed a real customer, and that customer was indeed convinced,
then good for Rossi.

If, on the other hand, this is a scam, then a pox on his house (even if he has
sold it).

Needless to say, if you believe those documents, it is an open and shut
case. There is no chance of a measurement error.

I do, actually, believe them but I admit this test could be construed as a
gigantic and expensive fraud. I will grant there is a slight chance of that.
There is no independent proof the documents are real.

If you are expecting the world to wake up tomorrow believing this, you will
be disappointed. However, large numbers of serious people with serious money
will believe it, as much as I do (with only minor reservations). I have
heard from a number of them. That's good news. At this stage we need people
with barrels of money more than we need public support. We will need support
later on. So, all in all, this was a positive event, and it will help cold
fusion.
