Re: [Vo]:Talbot Chubb dies
Dave Nagel says that about 100 people turned out for the memorial service. Talbott was a nice person with many friends. Daniel Rocha danieldi...@gmail.com asked: Did he have any opinion on Rossi's device? Or on Ni+H reactions in general? What was it? He seemed negative about that. I thought he was misinformed about the details of the work. I do not recall what he said but I can dig up my notes and find out if anyone is interested. - Jed

Please, I am curious. Not only about Rossi, but about Ni + H in general... 2011/12/12 Jed Rothwell jedrothw...@gmail.com Did he have any opinion on Rossi's device? Or on Ni+H reactions in general? Re: [Vo]:Talbot Chubb dies
Sorry to hear that ... and I'd just included a batch of Chubb papers in my reading list, so he was fresh on my mind. - Original Message - Dennis Cravens just told me: I was just informed that Talbot Chubb just passed away (Dec 10). - Jed
Re: [Vo]:Talbot Chubb dies
That's sad! His long time collaborator also passed away this year. Were they relatives since both were Chubb? BTW, his theory is the best I could find and was the most economical in using new physics, which is why it was my favorite... I am new to LENR field, but it doesn't seem people acknowledged their work as it should be, I wonder why... 2011/12/10 Alan Fletcher a...@well.com Sorry to hear that ... and I'd just included a batch of Chubb papers in my reading list, so he was fresh on my mind. -- Dennis Cravens just told me: I was just informed that Talbot Chubb just passed away (Dec 10). - Jed -- Daniel Rocha - RJ danieldi...@gmail.com

He attended his granddaughter's wedding last year. At the NRL there is a conference hall with photos from the 1940s. Talbot is shown there, working on a captured V2 rocket launch experiment, as I recall. Something like that. I last spoke with him a few months ago. He mind seemed as clear as ever. That's a blessing. - Jed
