That's exciting to start seeing, though the description of VOS is a bit
innacurate. It's actually quite fascinating to see how people understand
VOS (e.g. "strikingly similar to how Blender organizes its scenes", and
inclusion of OTD as a key component when it is in fact dead and was
never a key part of VOS!)
(It also happens to link to a nonexistant page in Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Virtual_Object_System
Which I think I'll make into a "stub" with a link to our website and a
brief description.)
Maybe we need to simplify some of our descriptions on the About page and
in Creating Interrealiy. We have a tendency to use our own jargon or to
talk densely which may make people make inaccurate inferences about it
or to skip the introductory text and try to figure it out from a quick
browse through the more in depth materials?
The proposed protocol later in the document is actually not too far
removed from messages that Vobjects can send (or properties that can be
updated). In fact it looks a lot like our first drafts of a "Metaverse"
protocol (I think I still have a piece of paper somewhere about that, Pete).
