[Vserver] IRC logs

2004-06-17 Thread ryanmh
Howdy:

I've begun logging the #vserver irc channel to:
http://www.sculpturedlife.com/vserver/irc-logs/

It isn't a live log, but sync'ed every 6 hours at the moment.

If anyone (i.e. Paul :) wants to copy the output to the repository listed on the
linux-vserver homepage feel free.

Cheers,
Ryan

[Vserver] 1.3.9.1 patch for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 3

2004-05-07 Thread ryanmh
Howdy all:

I've quickly cobbled together a 1.3.9.1 Linux-VServer patch for the RHEL 3
2.4.21-9.0.3EL kernel. At the moment there are some (hopefully not too important) proc
entries that will indicate bogus values, but everything else should be working.

That said, I've only tested basic functionality so far. If anyone else is interested
in trying them out, the patch and rpms can be found at the URLs below. (Use the kernel
RPMs carefully; you'll likely end up with two versions of kernel or kernel-smp
installed, the RH supplied one and the vserver one.)

Cheers,
Ryan

To build from source using kernel-2.4.21-9.0.3.EL.src.rpm:

Re: [Vserver] Connections from virtual server appearing as if from host

Did you check those to make sure that packets coming from

 Just thought I'd check.

Yeah, I saw that thread too. But in my case I'm using routable addresses so I'm not
using SNAT.

Thanks though,
Ryan
