 I did a rsync -av to the vserver, and vserver instance started up.
 When create a new vserver certain device files are not created.
 Do I need to remove any items from the new vserver to secure it?
 
I don't know if you have any hardware related init scripts, but they should
be removed too (like hdparm, ...)
