so using the ListenAddress directive for sshd (in the config)
is the usually preferred way of doing it (on the host)

or run ssh on another port on the master, if they master is using a dhcp

Re: [Vserver] logging onto a vserver takes me to host's root

2005-01-04 Thread Meng Kuan
Hi,

The sshd running in your root system is binding to all available IP
addresses.

Read the section on 2. Daemons on the host server at the following url
for details on how to bind the daemons running on the host server to
the IP-number of the host server:

http://linux-vserver.org/linux-vserver_administrators_guide

HTH.

cheers,

 Hi vserver list,
I have a debian testing running the host. I've set up 2 little baby
vservers, that are functioning in every way they should, except when I
log on through ssh, I always end up on the root of the mother. Makes no
difference if I am a privileged or unprivileged vserver user.
Has anyone come across this problem?
 With dear regards
