Re: [Vserver] Kernel 2.6.0..

2004-01-03 Thread James MacLean
Hi Folks,

Not sure what kind of feedback you are looking for. On top of the last log
sent of the vserver, I can also comment that in 2.6.0 :

. vserver-stat only shows root server
. hostname in vserver changes root server's hostname
. vservers see all IPs

Re: [Vserver] Kernel 2.6.0..

2003-12-31 Thread James MacLean
Hi Folks,

Attached a little log that came off my first 2.6.0 run. All applications
in the vserver seem to be buzzing along as expected, and it is still going
fine, but thought the attached might be of interest. It occured as
everything was starting up on a fresh reboot.

Fedora host, Mandrake vserver, fresh 2.6.0 with Herbert's test11 patch.

RE: [Vserver] Kernel 2.6.0..

2003-12-30 Thread Allen D. Parker II
I'll be the first to jump on the testing bandwagon! I've been looking for
2.6 vserver support because 2.6 does some very nice things with my router's
cpu (via c3 nemiah core hw random number generator support).
