CommPost: Free shipping offer

2003-06-25 Thread Zytech online store

We're terribly overstocked on 512MB RAM modules so purchase any 512MB
RAM on the site by 30/6/03 and shipping is FREE. As an example, 512MB
RAM for Mac desktop models is $145 -

You'll need to cite WAMUG SPECIAL at checkout and we'll delete the
delivery cost as we invoice your selection. The free shipping offer is
for 512MB RAM only. Remember, all Zytech RAM is First Grade only with a
lifetime warranty.

We've reduced our 40 metre range USB Bluetooth adapter to $69 -

Our FireWire 800 250GB hard drive (8MB cache) is now $899 and we've
reduced the price of a number of drives including our 120GB FireCube
now $425 full details of all drives at -
http://www.zytech.com.au/firewire/drives/firecube/firecube.html

And finally Flash Drive wholesale prices have been rising slowly but
steadily over the last few weeks so expect to see retail price rises
very soon. Current pricing is at -

It's not much help, but the 56k stream works fine for me using Safari
1.0 and QuickTime 6.3 on OS X 10.2.6

Thanks,
Shay

iPod 15G

2003-06-25 Thread Dark Servant
I'm considering buying a 15 Gig iPod. I could quite easily go to Perth
or the Curtin Uni computer shop but I would much rather support a WAMUG
member.
I'm interested in quotes for a student price and whether there are
currently any in stock.

Thanks

Help - Sick SE 30!

2003-06-25 Thread chesnutt
OK, it's a long way from the new G5s I know, but my faithful old SE30
seems to be at deaths door. When it's switched on, the screen shows up a
whole bunch of horizontal stripes - and nothing else. I can hear the
hard disk clicking away, so I don't think the disk has died. Anybody
have any ideas???
