*drool*

Still, I've been seeing people claiming the G5 processor isn't actually
_that_terrible_ for heat output (something like: 42watts @ 1.8GHz, compared
to 30watts for a G4e and far better than the 70watts a Pentium4 puts out!).
That's no reflection on the system as a whole, but maybe it'll keep their
aircon bill down a bit...

I wonder what sort of discount they got on 1100 PMG5s. ;)

The reason for the machine name appearing is probably related to the
transfer from yahoogroups to wamug's own email server. The list server has
had that entered as your subscription address. Harmless really, or at worst
annoying for you trying to administer your subscription. Unsubscribing
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and subscribing [EMAIL PROTECTED] would fix it.

The bounce message, well I'm not so sure about that. I've been getting a LOT
of them from WAMUG lately, and I can't figure out why anything should have
been bouncing (except for the usual suspects: email worm propagation, and my
mail server being in the States). If more people are getting them
frequently, might it be a misconfiguration on wamug's server?

I've got about 15 since yesterday - more unsolicited mail than I normally
get in a year ! They've all been to an email address I use solely for public
consumption on forums, Usenet etc.

Ah well.

I've gotten 320 them in the last 24 hours. I've got a rule set up to delete
all messages with .exe attachments. I can only hope this one deletes itself
after a couple days and this crap stops.

Yes, lots of it.
We have two accounts on bigpond. The primary account has received over
200 so far, the secondary account's received zero. At 160K (plus) each
message it's a real pita.

Unfortunately, RealOne movie can only be played by RealOne Player.
They cannot be embedded in Keynote.

(If Real pulled their finger out and made RealOne a QuickTime
component, then you would be able to!)

Yes but if they did that then how many people would use their RealOne
Player.

No one would use, but that is not a bad thing for Real, as it's not
like they sell adds in the player itself.

Does your ISP provide a mail service from their web page. If so try
accessing your mail through that facility.

G'day folks,

It is "catch 22" now because I have about 5 emails in my inbox that I cannot
even delete because as soon as I click on any of them Mozilla quits.

Is there any other way to delete messages in the inbox without clicking on
the message ?

And does anyone know how to solve the "unexpected quits" problem ?
I have searched and searched the set-up menus without success.
