Hi All,

I was wondering how you go about putting in a wish-list bug report with
Apple? I have a couple of iTunes modifications I would like to ask
for...

Unfortunately Apple doesn't have a fix out yet, though they're
apparently working on it.

Re: Mail rules and mailbox

2003-11-27 Thread Dave Choy
Right click (or control click) the sidebar where your mailboxes are and
select "new mailbox". Name it WAMUG. it should appear in the drop down
list when you create your mail rule.

Thanks to everyone who offered me an old Mac for sale. My friend who
wants the Mac is busy calculating his assets and will hopefully make a
decision soon.

iChat Australia-China

2003-11-27 Thread Steven Tan
Hi all,

There will be another iChat session coming up on the 4th Dec, 8:30pm organised
by Geraldton Mac user group and Beijing Mac user group
We will use a more commonly named room this time - AusChinaChat

We invite everyone to join for this group chat and besides social
chats/discussions, it might also be a good place to solve some mac problems.
(mac help book standing by)

As usual, if you need instructions on how to get on iChat, feel free to pop the
question to me. :)

Re: Date & Time

2003-11-27 Thread Jon Davison

Top of the morning

I am running Mac OSX.3 Panther, on a G5 1.6, 768Mb RAM. Date and time
is set in prefs and looks fine but on the top menu bar it is wrong. Not
only that, the coloured spinning (waiting) circle just keeps on
spinning and not changing the date and time. In fact I can't access the
top right at all (volume, language, Ethernet, time etc). Left side is
okay and working. Anyone had this before? is there a work-around or
fix?

Thanks
Jon

Just make sure that you specify double-sided SODIMM modules for a

Thanks to all who shared their knowledge

I'm feeling suitably informed now

Probably. I don't know what exact memory type they use, but any apple
dealer should be able to tell you. It'll want PC100 SODIMMS.
