MS Access
Greetings, Is there anything on the Mac which will directly import MS Access files (.mdb, specifically from MS Access 97)? I have found myself in the position of having to receive a few of these on a three monthly basis, and put their contents into another database. Testing Akamai
Hi All, I need a bit of a favor from some of you. Could those of you who are with the following ISP's please do a traceroute to a4.g.akamai.net. Hey all, Quick question. Software Update
Hi all Recently I ran Software Update to see if the latest security update was available. It wasnt. Taking someones advice, I went to the apple site to download and install it. It installed successfully and later tested ok. However at the end of the install, Software Update launched and now in fact had the update listed which I had just installed. Not good I thought. I restarted to try and clear it; no go. So I steeled myself and proceeded with the automatic update to try and clear it. Oops, it's now listed *twice* under Installed Updates. Did anyone else manually install this update? I think it'll probably be ok but if someone knows how to straighten it out I'd be happier. I wouldnt normally be so keen to update but this had you lot all spooked so I jumped ;) Thankyou Paul

I eventually downloaded the DiskWarrior update v3.0.2, and I must say that Alsoft did a very good job with their installer. It created and burnt a new bootable disk after reading my original V3.0.1, and presto! I now can boot the G5 beast without any problem. My faith in Alsoft has been restored and my computer is now back on track with its newly rebuilt directory, and I get to keep a newly burnt CD of V3.0.2.
