Daniel, ..and anyone!! On the subject of games, are there any that require logic, thinking, planning, creativity ..and not killing everything in sight? Once upon a time there was which involved building a Roman city, with you putting in water supplies and markets and then seeing what happened to the populations. Is there anything like that? Nikon Raw Files
Could someone explain to me how to open .NEF files in CS 2 . I was under the impression that PS would open them in Adobe Camera Raw but this is not happening for me. Any thoughts. Regards Clive

Regards Clive Don't know about Adobe, but GraphicConverter 5.7 from LemkeSoft lists Nikon D1 NEF as a file format it can open. You can then save in a more compatible format. -- Peter HinchliffeApwin Computer Services FileMaker Pro Solutions Developer Perth, Western Australia Phone (618) 9332 6482Fax (618) 9332 0913 Mac because I prefer it -- Windows because I have to.
Re: Nikon Raw Files
Hi Clive, I put this question to Pat from Team Digital 9328 3377 and his reply was: Nikon released info to adobe recently to allow them to open the latest nikon raw files that have encrypted metadata. If you down load the latest plug in it should work. Hope this helps. If you want to email him: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Regards Chris Griffiths On 11/11/2005, at 7:57 AM, Ikon Design wrote: Could someone explain to me how to open .NEF files in CS 2 . Fwd: Nikon Raw Files
Hi Clive What Nikon camera are you using? though it should not really matter as PS CS2 sees all .NEF files as it is embedded within PS, you won't need a plug in. Do you have another image editor app like Corel etc? Check any of these first; In PS CS2, you can do either of these actions; 1. Use the 'Adobe Bridge' and view your NEF files there, this then brings up the Camera Raw/NEF window with all its dedicated image controls. 2. Drag an .NEF file to the PS CS2 icon and ditto above 3. Double click the .NEF file. and ditto above 4. In PS CS2 'Apple-O' and search for the file as normal Try these anyway, and if none of the above works for you, then something else is the problem. Re: [4Sale] Game Sale - While Srocks last!
Hi Rosemary A few games that spring to mind, that don't involve killing but more what you suggest are:- SimCity 4 (and expansion pack) The Sims (and ALL the expansion packs) The Sims 2 All the variations of Myst Zoo Tycoon (and the expansion packs) Age Of Empires Age Of Mythology. (OK, so a small amount of killing in this,..but it's lightly based on history) These are a few that spring to mind. Have a look at the following site as it gives you a run down of the games (Description, price, system requirements) so quite good for that. https://secure.tryandbyte.com.au/shop/shop9.html And if you wanted any of them I can get them in for you. :o) Hope that helps! MAC address
Hi Gurus :-) Please can some kind soul tell me where to look for a computer's MAC address please Mac
Re: MAC address
Go to System Preferences - Network - built-in ethernet - click on ethernet tab - Ethernet ID = MAC address eg: 00:0b:95:dc:b5:0c Other interfaces like Airport also have MAC addresses. -Mart From: Malcolm J McCallum [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Fri, 11 Nov 2005 14:42:26 +0800 To: WAMUG Mailing List wamug@wamug.org.au Subject: MAC address Hi Gurus :-) Please can some kind soul tell me where to look for a computer's MAC address please Mac -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml Guidelines - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml Unsubscribe - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] WAMUG is powered by Stalker CommuniGatePro
Re: MAC address
Typing in ifconfig in terminal would do it. It's also in System Profiler under Network - Locations. Another for File maker Is there an easy way to transfer Excel spread sheet to Filemaker 7 other than fully creating the page and going box by box tom samson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Filemaker
All you have to do is drop the Excel speadsheet onto the Filemaker Application Icon. It will open a wizard to match fields and away you go. -- All the best Greg Sharp President/Webmaster [EMAIL PROTECTED] Australian Mac Users Group (AUSMUG) http://www.australian.macusersgroup.org On 11/11/05 6:21 PM, thefrogs [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Another for File maker Is there an easy way to transfer Excel spread sheet to Filemaker 7 other than fully creating the page and going box by box
