I used it a while ago too (and paid for it), and I thought that it was
rubbish. Of course it may have improved since then. Also, Allume Systems
appear to be more marketing-oriented, rather than quality product-oriented
these days.

have they finished yet?

there's nothing to worry about really... wen they have finished you 
just have to move them again to the trash. If you cannot get to the 
finder/desktop folder to trash them in bulk there's always one at a 
time.


Don't worry about them heaping on top of the HD icon, it does that and 
does not cause any harm

Does he have OS 9xx   that he could start up from there on board or by 
CD   ?


You can shift all sorts of things from there !

a friend using an iMac with 10.2.8 has tried to trash 465 attachments 
from his attachments folder and accidentally dropped them onto the 
desktop.  The Desktop is full and the remainder are trying to sit on 
top of the HD icon.  It doesn't want to finish depositing them on the 
desktop and we can't do anything except access Eudora.


Any ideas for me here?

Spring Cleaning version 8 by Allume Systems.
I used it years ago and found the orphaned files were not orphans.
It looks good but is it safe to use.
Opinions please.
