so will this mean that CARS will only be avialable as a download ,
not as a Pixar DVD collection!.

Movie studios aren't about to kill off their cash cow :-) DVDs (and
future formats) will be around for quite some time yet.

I notice on D-store.com.au, that a CARS DVD can be ordered - @ $38

iTunes Seamless Play?

2006-09-14 Thread Dark1
The new seamless play feature is great but now I want to use it for
some music I imported a long time ago.

It seems that some of the music I imported a long time ago doesn't
organise its-self in the order as it appears on the CD where as more
recent albums do.

I've got my iTunes organised by Artist in my library. I don't want
to reimport all my older albums for 2 reasons. I can't be bothered
doing it and also some of the CDs may have been scratched since I
imported.

Thanks in advance
Ruben

Possible dead laptop

2006-09-14 Thread Aurora
Hi,

I have an old G3 laptop that I forgot to recharge.

It now won't turn on and the battery doesn't appear to charge. The machine
won't start up even when on mains power.

Have I killed it or can it be salvaged?

Hi,

Sorry I took so long to a reply but to all the wonderful people out there
that email me - a restart did get rid of the phantom finder non-icon on my
desktop.

Hi Tony

You should still be able to install the upgrade. Normally with the adobe
Upgrade it looks for the previous version of Photoshop. But if you don't
have it installed, there should be an option (off the top of my head) that
lets you put in the previous serial number, so as not needing to install the
older version.

That should work.

Kind Regards
Daniel

Photoshop Purchase

2006-09-14 Thread Wilson Tony
I need to acquire a full version of Photoshop 6 or 7 (macintosh). I
purchased the CS 2 upgrade for my licensed V 5.0.2 and discovered it
is not covered as requires Classic and I am totally OS 10.4 plus.

I will need the registration number as upgrade requires activation

Somebody else might have a better idea , but why don't you encapsulate
the file inside a disc image

and then send the image ! ?

Might work !
