JPEG advice needed
When I edit my pics and save them as JPEGs on Photoshop I find that the self serve machines at photo places like Harvey Normans can't detect them. But they can detect unaltered pics which are straight from my camera. Is there a solution please? Re: JPEG advice needed
Paul, What means are you using to transport the images? I find that thumb drives formatted on my Mac are unreadable by PCs. On the other hand, drives formatted on a PC are readable on both platforms. If you are using CDs you might try Toast and burn in in dual Mac/PC format. Just one thing though , if you carry Mac files on a device formatted like that you will probably find that OSX can read them OK but OS9 boot could have trouble Bob If you are using CDs you might try Toast and burn in in dual Mac/PC format. 8 Core Mac Pros are out :-)
Hi All! Just saw these beasties on the US Apple site: http://www.apple.com/macpro/ Two quad core 3.9Ghz Zeons with oodles of expansion. No word on Aussie price, but the US price as a base model with Airport/Bluetooth will set you back $4076US (about $5000 AUS). In reality, we are probably looking at $5500 to $6000. Help on help
I am using roll paper feed for the first time on my Stylus Photo 1290S and having problems with settings for printing a banner out of Photoshop. Help Viewer is unable to access Epson help files which do not show in the Help Viewer Library menu. However there are a heap of Help Viewer documents in the folder /Library/Printers/Epson/Help. I have tried putting copies of this folder in other locations and naming it Epson Help but it remains invisible to Help Viewer. I really need to access this Help before I waste too much more expensive roll paper and run out of time on this job. Help me please Severin Crisp Assoc Professor R Severin Crisp, FIP, CPhys, FAIP 15 Thomas St, Mount Clarence, Albany, 6330, Western Australia.
