FS: Epson Printer Cartridges HALF PRICE

2007-05-26 Thread Rod Blitvich
Hi WAMUGers
I have 6 brand new unopened genuine Epson printer cartridges.
No longer required as I have a new printer.
I¹m happy to pass them on for half price.
Do you know anyone with an Epson C70 or C80 printer?

Suitable for Epson C70, C80 printers
 * 1 Black (shop price $65)
 * 2 Cyan (shop price $26 each)
 * 2 Magenta (shop price $26 each)
 * 1 yellow (shop price $26)

Thanks
Rod

Re: Changing the font etc in an Appleworks database field

2007-05-26 Thread Mervyn & Giuliana Bond

David
I went back to my database and realised that all I had done was to
change all my surnames to Bold. I had not attempted to change the
font. When I tried to change the font some cells changed but others
didn't. I could change those that hadn't changed separately - not
what you want to do with a large database. So maybe one can only
play around with the Style.

Bob might tweak out something from his store of goodies.
Merv

Thanks for the suggestion, Merv, but your procedure only resets the
default for the data field, it doesn't change data existing in
fields.

I guess that the short answer might be, it isn't possible to do what I want?

In Layout click on the data field rectangle so that is shows it
little black "handles" for size changing then go Format and choose
the font etc. Return to Browse and the data should appear as chosen
in format. Save.

Hi, I've used database files in Clarisworks/Appleworks over many

one thing leaves me still baffled.

How can I change all the data in one particular text field (over the
whole database) to a given font, size, etc? Obviously the Layout
gives the defaults for such things, but data pasted into these
fields often retains font and size from its source. I want to
retrospectively convert all the data in a particular field to a
given format. I realize I can probably select and convert all data
over all fields, but I need different fields to be in different
formats.

Sounds as if it should be simple to do ... if only some kind
soul would point out how...!! (esteemed Ronnie, where are you?).

Never say Never !

You say : One particular Text field over the whole
database  !  ?

The interpretation I give to this is that there are numerous fields ...
and a number of fields in that group in which you wish to change the
Font  !

If the interpretation is correct ...
are you able to sort the fields so that those needing to be changed
will appear in a row or a column ???

In which case you could highlight that row/column and format only the
cells it contains.

Reverse the sort to reinstate your presentation .

But perhaps I misinterpret what you are telling us .

Cheers

Bob
