Sharing VMWare Windows Engine between users
Hi All WAMUGgers Where should I put my VMWare Fusion Windows Engine so it can be safely accessed by multiple users? At the moment it's in my documents folder but that's accessible only to me. If I put it in Applications, will that put its saved data and documents at risk? Should I put it in a Shared Folder? Or, does VMWare have a special place for it? I've been searching their tech support and FAQs and can't find the answer. Hope you can help Regards Reg -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml Guidelines - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml Unsubscribe - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Beijing Apple Store - for an idle moment
The whole complex was mostly deserted, with mainly Westerners in the Starbucks. Its in an area with lots of embassies, and relatively quiet. Macs cost more than in Australia and Chinese salaries are mostly much lower than here, only wealthy people would buy them I think. orphan files
Hello all. Is there a file hunter and deleter of left over files when an Application is trashed? Re: orphan files
Yes, I strongly recommend AppCleaner, find it on Version Tracker. It is free too, but you need to use it to remove the application, not just to tidy up afterwards, though it will do that if you can recognise the bits and pieces.
