iPAD External Storage

2012-04-24 Thread Peter Sealy
I have an iPAD 2 and am considering purchase of an external storage unit such
as the Seagate GoFlex Satellite or Kingston Wi-Drive. There are quite a few of
these devices on the market now and I am asking whether any of the gurus here
use any of them.

Any comments, road tests, pluses/minuses, etc? Comments I have seen on places
such as Amazon on all of these units seem very mixed.

 Appreciate any views.

2012-04-24 Thread Ray Forma
Ronda,

I have finally got access to the aberrant MBP and your suggested solution seems
to have done the trick; fingers crossed. Many thanks!

This again shows that someone, somewhere has probably experienced the same
problem that your Mac is having, so one should always trawl the Web for advice
before you assume that your Mac has a unique problem, and just shouting for
help.

Re: MYOB datafile question

2012-04-24 Thread Darrel McGuiness
Hi Walter,
Yes; I just send mine as a data file and my accountant can open it and
modify/amend it.
He might have some MYOB software at his office which lets him do this, but I
don't know.
Also other accountants can do the same.

Darrel

MYOB datafile question

2012-04-24 Thread F.W. Hänel
Hi all,

Can a MYOB datafile (Account Edge version 7) created on 10.4.11 be easily
converted
to Windows so the accountant can work with it ? (only once at the end of
fin/year).

Thanks,

Walter
