Storing DVDs in paper envelopes

Hi Everyone --

-- I've accumulated a couple of thousand burnt DVDs, which I number
and keep in the square paper envelopes. Can anyone recommend a
reasonable cheap storage solution, probably with drawers which can be
pulled out to check the numbers? At the moment, I keep many of them in
old library catalogue card drawers, spread out on a table (I have the
drawer cases, but these only take the drawers when holding 3 x 5
cards).

iPad for a Chalkie

I'd like to buy an iPad for a friend who is a school principal, plus cover 
which includes a keypad. One intended use is to make notes then send to school 
Windows computer or server. Also wants to be able to use Excel and send 
spreadsheets. I don't know the first thing about iPads. Any suggestions?
