Re: Managing apps in iTunes 12.7.0

2017-09-22 Thread Ronni Brown
I agree Daniel, I find it much easier and quicker now.
iTunes users have long accused the App of being bloated, even though it was
easy enough to ‘Hide’ iTunes features you don’t use. In any case, this is the
first time that Apple has addressed what one might call a surfeit of features
in iTunes.

Some users will like the changes in iTunes 12.7 and others won’t ;-)

Cheers,
Ronni

Re: Managing apps in iTunes 12.7.0

2017-09-22 Thread Daniel Kerr
I actually like this change. I never used to update the Apps within iTunes
myself, and only updated them on the iPad and iPhone, so it meant when I
checked Apps on the computer(s) it told me I had a million things to update as
well (as I didn’t want it set to auto-update). So now it frees up space on the
computer for something I never used to work with anyway,..hehe.
But yes, I can understand it’s not every one :)

I know I won’t miss it,…lol. But that’s just me.

Enjoy!

Kind regards

Managing apps in iTunes 12.7.0

2017-09-22 Thread FW
Good morning,

Apps no longer appear in the iTunes sidebar of the device I have just connected
to the 10.12.6 iMac. (iPhone or iPad).
They are not listed under “Summary” or “On my device”.

Have tried some of the suggestions on the net and the “View and manage
purchased apps” hints to unhide them
in the iTunes help section - but no luck.

I would like to re-arrange apps on the iOS devices, any resolution would be
appreciated.

Thanks
Walter

Re: Firewire 800 port not working

2017-09-22 Thread Ronni Brown
Hi Matt,

When did these external HD stop showing on the Desktop?
Do either of these external HD show in Disk Utility on the 27 inch iMac?
Have you checked the FW800 port in System Profiler?
When connected to the FW800 port do they show in System Profiler: under
Hardware - FW800 - status: ?

Cheers,
Ronni
