Re: Photos

2019-08-06 Thread Stephen Chape
High Bill.

Make a folder for them on your desktop.
Then download all at once to that folder.

Then open Photos and import all from the folder.

That should really only be two movements.

Re: Photos

2019-08-06 Thread Neil Houghton
Hi Guys,

I may be missing something here as I use Dropbox but not the Photos app –
however, I just tried this:

Open the Photos app on my iMac
Go to File menu: import
The browser window opens – Navigate to my Dropbox folder and then to the
required photos (I selected 5)
Click “review for import”
The photos can now be seen in the photos screen under the heading New Photos (5
photos)
Click “Import all new photos”
The photos are now all in the photos library 
Have a cup of tea!

Disclaimer: the above was all done with Photos version 1.5 running on OSX
10.11.6 – so some details may be different on later versions.

HTH

Cheers

Neil

G'Day Stephen

Thanks I was hoping for a way to send them straight to Photos as the are about
200 but I guess it will be the slow way.

Hello Bill

I just logged into my Dropbox to have a look.

Once logged in you can click the three dots at the right hand side of a folder
or a file.

This gives you a menu.

One option on the menu is Download.

I tried it and the files downloaded without a problem.
