Yes, this would have been my immediate response. I think it’s been around since
at least Sierra (corrections invited!).

[WAMUG] Problem with replyingto emails in Apple Mail

2023-02-21 Thread Marcus Harris via WAMUG
I have an issue with Mail.
When I reply to an email, the text will not type normally, Initially the
letters are bunched together, then instead of typing a letter, the next key
brings up a text box and then another key moves to the image shown below within
a box requesting "markup “
I can do a work round by typing within the signature and then cut and paste,
but it’s not one off and more than annoying.
Any solutions gratefully accepted.

Re: [WAMUG] Recording a video of my screen

2023-02-21 Thread Tim Law via WAMUG
Hello Walter,

I’m using VLC Version 3.0.18 Vetinari (Intel 64bit) on an iMac running Ventura
13.2.1

I don’t often have a need to use it, but it’s worked for me today with good
conversion from a big sized .mov to a much more emailable .m4v with
consequential of loss of quality.

Regards

Tim

QuickTime Player…"new screen recording" Various options include full
screen, parts of the screen. Make sure you check save on desktop. Stop
recording by finding the tiny little ’stop’ button that appears in the
menu bar (took me gaes to work out how to stop). Saves on your desktop as
’screen recording ..time”. Edit in iMovie.

 Cheers
