Re: CS2 and 10.6.8

I have a friend who has upgraded to 10.6.8 and finds that PhotoShop CS2 and
LightRoom2 no longer work. I suspect this is a Rosetta or 64bit/32 bit
issue - Adobe no longer support these versions. He is looking to backwards
reinstall, a messy operation in my mind! I am uncertain of the hardware.
 Comments please

If Rosetta is the issue, he can install Rosetta on 10.6.8...he can also decide
to run on 32 or 62 bit. If he's tried this with no luck, the problem could be
somewhere else.

Dropbox is just plain great...and Google offers Google Drive, which is exactly
the same thing as Dropbox but with 5GB free vrs. 2GB (on either case you can
purchase more storage).

If you use Dropbox, it will automatically sync with all your registered
computers/devices...it's a life saver for me.

 Hi All,

I have noted from several members recently that they use the 1Password App.
I am about to make the jump in purchasing this App for both our iPads and

should know understand about the setup process to make life easier and also
to reconfirm that this is the best password protector on offer at the moment.

 Many thanks,

 Hi all,

My iMac has just started making a light ticking/clicking noise and on restart
won't progress past the Apple logo screen.

A review of Google Indicates this may not be a great thing. Hoping someone
can recommend a solution or a service centre to have it checked out?

I would hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that ticking can be very bad
news if it's coming from the hard drive.

Re: Shift Key Problems

2012-02-15 Thread Javier Castagnetto

One solution was to download a free program called Spark and remap
 the keys

(Amongst other programs, plus that one does more as well)

Try Ukelele, great for remapping keys/creating custom keyboard layouts.

I had a white 17 iMac Dual Core and kept the original install disks. I'm
probably halfway around the world from you, but if those are the disks you need
maybe we can work a way to get them to you.
