Re: Advice about external hard disk to record live music

2009-09-23 Thread Phillip Bailey

Hi Rob,
The usual spec are:
7200rps and firewire.
What size disk depends on the sample and bit rate and how many tracks.
Cheers
Phil

Dear wamuggers

Can anyone suggest the specs of an external hard disk to record
about 24 hours of live music direct from a sound desk. Will USB2
suffice? What storage will I need? What disk RPM? What else?

Cheers
Rob

I use Disc Cover. I recommend it too.

Hello Wamuggers

Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good and reasonably
priced software program for designing/labeling CD/DVD covers?

I searched the internet and found "Disc Cover' by Belight Software
which seems to be very user-friendly and a worthwhile purchase. Has
anyone bought this product?

Kind regards
