Just installed update. Seems OK except that mouse scroll option doesn't work! (Didn't in previous 10.7 either!) Anybclues? Epson Stylus Pro XL Plus
Anyone interested in an Epson Stylus Pro XL Plus A5 Printer. It is in Very good condition and I hate the thought of consigning it to the Tip. Old Macs
I was paying my ad.acc @Fremantle Herald today and the lassie on the front desk informs me that they have about 20 old macs ranging from dinosaurs to more recent, sitting idle in the basement. If whoever it is that organises the sending of these venerable machines to our less fortunate brethren in india etc they might like to contact the Herald. Could be a newsworthy item for the paper and a nice plug for WAMUG!

My Pro Keyboard has suddenly decided to stop responding to typed input. Mouse is OK and USB connections OK Any clues ?

Problem Solved! Daughter admitted to drink spillage! I've just spent 3 hrs dismantling and cleaning keyboard (Amazing how much crap builds up in them).Got it all back together with one washer left over and she works just fine -Looks nice and clean too!
Shutdown Tantrums!
My venerable Rev 3 333 MHz iMac refuses to shut down since I installed OS 10.3.9 and I have to resort to pulling the plug to get it to go bye byes! This cannot be doing the little beast any good-Can anyone offer a solution? Bob Miller-Eves
Safari quitting
Whenever I try to open Show all bookmarks Safari quits As my Bookmark list is trailing onto my desk I need to do a Cull'. Running 10.3.9 Any clues?
Startup problems with OS 9.22 Classic
Running 10.3.9 and 9.22 .All OK till yesterday. Suspect Kids mucking around with MSN (They won't use their own imac cos it's too slow!! and have inveigled their way into my eMac!) MS Word (Vintage Office 2001) and MYOB Version Premier 5 both used to start up fine in Classic but now Classic seems to be hanging on start up of these programmes. If I restart in OS9.22 everythings fine. Any clues anyone? Bob Miller-Eves
Paperport 2.0
Do any of you vintage Mac - Ophiles out there own a Paperport 2.0 scanner? I'm trying to acquire a serial cable for this machine (The standard Mac serial cable will not work as I believe the pin configuration is slightly different at the Paperport end). If anyone has one that I could beg/ borrow/ buy (I could possibly get a techo to make me one up if he had a Copy) Ever hopeful -Bob Miller-Eves
