Hi Vlad

Unfortunately I don't think the original iMac can use those speakers.
The only adapter I am familiar with is called the Griffin iFire, but it runs
off Firewire, so not possible with that iMac I'm afraid.
And also it costs about $95, so you could get a pair of speakers for about
the same price anyway!

I would like to connect Apple Pro speakers to a friend's iMac/233 (the
original), but as I remember, the connections differ. Does anyone know
whether the old iMac can drive these speakers? If so, who sells the
necessary adapter?
