This week we are also debuting VirusBarrier which we consider to be the
premiere Mac virus software. Macnn says this about VirusBarrier -

"VirusBarrier is without question the most ambitious attempt to date
at creating a complete anti-virus solution that's unobtrusive and
complete, which in essence is what every utility of this kind should
be. While some users may question the need for a robust anti-virus
solution given the limited number of viruses on the Mac, for those who
don't VirusBarrier offers piece of mind in an attractive package."

VirusBarrier is $129 and you can order it or read more about it at -
http://zytech.com.au/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=SOFT

Be one of the first 5 mail list readers to buy VirusBarrier AND any
other item from our online store and we'll include a free 32MB Flash
Drive (approx value $40). If you miss out on being one of the first 5,
we'll provide a FREE flashing mobile phone holder (normally $18.99).

DiskWarrior 3.01 has finally landed in Australia and we are shipping
all our backorders this week .... apologies for the wait.

Another nifty piece of software is MacDrive 5 for PC users. If you'd
like to use a Mac formatted drive on your PC (without partitioning or
reformatting) you can download a free trial of MacDrive 5 -

This is the SUPERIOR solution if you are sharing your drives (or any
other media) cross platform.

For Mac OS X users here's a handy Classic startup optimisation courtesy
of Robin Belford to try out -

Whilst running OS X, simply drag everything from your OS 9 Control
Panels to the Control Panels Disabled folder. Do the same for
Extensions. Start Classic and let it install the "necessary" files when
it asks for them. OS 9 will only load those Extensions it needs and
startup time for Classic will be reduced.

If you've recently bought Microsoft Office X you may be entitled to a
$9.95 upgrade to MS Office 2004. You can get all the info and
applications at -
http://www.microsoft.com/australia/office/mac/technologyguarantee.asp

.... and we still have genuine Microsoft optical wheel mice at $29.
Delivery on these units is $8.50 (total), whether you buy 1 or 50 -
