Re: FW: [Catalist] Virtual PC

2002-08-03 Thread Bob Howells
It might run on the 7600, but

when I asked questions about 2 weeks ago,
the answers I received seemed to follow the amount of Ram
available in the Mac.

Those with 64/96 meg Ram in essence said "useless"
but those with around 160 megs were able to run.

The 7600/132 would run slower. Dont forget you will also
need a bundle of Hard Disk space.

Also the later the version of Vpc the more Ram needed

If anyone has an old version of Virtual PC, to run on an old Powermac
7600/132MHz, that I could gain access to I would greatly appreciate it. The
new versions will not run on my machine, and a lot of work stuff as we all
know is for PC's only. A new Apple Laptop, now. Support for Rod.

Many thanks,
Phil Price
