It is a good story and the computer being a MacBook does make one feel good.
One detail that Media Watch, the inimitable ABC TV media critique programme,
would no doubt have pointed out, is that even though the site is called Perth
Now and even though they fail to mention it explicitly until most of the way
through the piece, the incident happened in Oakland across the bay from San
Francisco. The other piece of information not prominently mentioned is when the
incident occurred in March. Some stories are recycled for up to 20 years.
Thanks for sharing in any case and excuse my Media Watch trained sensibilities.
