It is a nice idea particularly if the draw is scaleable to allow you to 
choose to view last ten or last twenty etc pages that would then 
combine tabs and thumbnails depending upon your personal preference. I 
would not mind having some kind of tree structure in the side draw to 
help navigate back through complex surfs. Too many times have I got 
lost in my IE history list :-)
