Re: re UK Apple / Samsung iPad copy apology - humour
Hi Brian, That cartoon is not too far off the mark. Personally I think the judge is taking some sort of mind bending substance. U.K. Judge Colin Birss has ruled that Samsung can continue selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the region because the Android tablet is 'not as cool' as the iPad and therefore is unlikely to be confused with Apple's slate. Samsung's Galaxy line of tablets 'do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design,' Judge Birss said. 'They are not as cool.' Nostalgia / humour question
Hi, I'm pretty sure, many years ago, an official Apple User Guide had an illustration of an iPod being used by a server administrator as a disk to install software on an Xserve or something. Anyone remember what document this was, or have a link to it online? Beat this: when I used to cut code one of my then managers used to use go-to's in Cobol report writer... and the code between the go-to condition and the go-to point was basically fluff to up his line of code per day count. über-coder? über-bonus scammer more like it. if you know Report Writer you know what I mean if you don't it's an extremely simple, mostly sequential, script like language derived from Cobol where there is very little conditional testing - and that's usually a single do until EOF (end of file). Getting technical here... Redirects through Microsoft? My understanding is that the URL spec is protocol://user:password@host:port/path I assume anything before the @ would treated as username only if there is no :. Therefore the URL http://www.microsoft.com[EMAIL PROTECTED]/nyheter/feb01/Q209354%20-%20HOWTO. htm Means go direct using http to hardware.no with username www.microsoft.comitem=q209354.
