Plugged in my Canon yet again and lo and behold it is functioning as a web
cam in Skype and in Yahoo! Messenger.

Some days I should just stay in bed.

Leopard & Web cams

I have a Canon MV920 video camera. It works as a web cam when connected to
my aged G3 PowerBook 400 OS 10.4.11, but does not show up at all when I
connect it to my MacBook Pro 2.4 Intel Core 2 Duo running OS 10.5.4.

I can't find any preferences that seem to affect it, even in QuickTime Pro.
I had hoped to use the camera as a web cam in Skype and in Yahoo! Messenger.

Any suggestions? And if this camera can't be used as a web cam with Leopard,
are there any that can be used as a web cam? iSight is too inflexible.
