MacBooks on auction (Tuesday 12th)
Hi... In case anyone is interested I note that Ross's has a police unclaimed and forfeited property auction, including two MacBooks and a MacBook Pro on Wednesday. Inspection is on Tuesday 12th. http://www.auctions.com.au/auctions/2010/01/13/wa-police-unclaimed-and-forfeited-property-auction.html Page 52 of the slideshow. Also looks like there are two iPhones on page 53 and some Applecare protection plans on page 50. Also a copy of iWork 09 around there. G'Day Apple Australia say that in the case of the Applecare protection plans,as they would have been reported to Apple as stolen, their stock number would have been deregistered as a result of an insurance claim. It pays to read the rules in the catalogue, caveat emptor Mike Armson Un-financial member On Monday/24/August/09 9:43 PM, Shay Telfer shaywa...@earthyself.com wrote: Hi... Re: MacBooks on auction (Tuesday 12th)
I have just had a look at the auction items. The MacBooks would have to go for a song as there is no guarantee they actually get up. Every time I attend an auction people seem to go a bit auction crazy and place high bids where it approaches the price of a SH machine with provenance.
