Hi Severin,

Well, I was in Perth so I missed the excitement!

However, when I talked to Georgie and she described the flames she could see
from her (city centre) office window I did suggest she leave work and go
make sure it wasn¹t our street on fire!

We are a bit further down the hill and there is Hill Street and Watkins
Avenue between us and the bush though I believe it was a bit too close for
comfort for some in Watkins Avenue.

Good to hear you all escaped un-singed.

Cheers

I would be interested to hear comments from any Muggers who have used or

I see rather than buying you need a subscription to Office 365 to get the full
deal, it seems Microsoft are following Adobe’s Creative Cloud in marketing.

Re: Microsoft announces Office for iPad

2014-03-28 Thread Neil Houghton
Also, if you just want to view - rather than editing using the Office365
Subscription, remember that the excellent Dropbox (discussed here many
times) lets you view office documents directly I often use it on my iPad
to check Word and Excel documents on my home computer (well, in my Dropbox
folder on my home computer).

Remember though, with the Dropbox iPad or iPhone app, to save storage
Dropbox just keeps the index on the device individual documents are
downloaded as required.

If you know in advance you will be checking documents whilst out & about
(say a guide book whilst exploring a city) you can access it whilst still on
the home/hotel network and mark it as a ³favourite² which will retain it on
your iDevice for when you are off-network.

I find it hard to remember how I coped before Dropbox ;o)

Cheers
