Works fine for me Stephen and I do this regularly. In Toast 10 go to
the Video tab, the one with the clapper board. Then drag the iMovie6
project file into that window. Note, drag just the project file. It
may take a while to copy then away you go. As a matter of course I
always go to File/Save as Disc Image and check the result before
committing to a disk.

than iDVD, so would like to give it a try.
However when I try to insert an iMovie project file while in Toast,
the files are all greyed out
