Re: iMovie 06 to Toast Titanium 10

2010-04-20 Thread Ronda Brown

Hi Stephen,

You can either:
A. From iM06 export your movie via Quicktime Full Quality then drag
drop that file into Toast burn a DVD from there.

Or
B. Drop the iMovie project into Toast and it will automatically
convert to the standard DVD format (mpeg2) and burn the DVD.

Takes some time to encode convert to MPEG2.
Also Burn you DVD disc at slow speed 2x or 4x

Hello again,

Does anyone know how to get an iMovie 06 project into Toast Titanium
10 ?

I have heard that this is a much better option for burning DVD's
than iDVD, so would like to give it a try.
However when I try to insert an iMovie project file while in Toast,
the files are all greyed out

Works fine for me Stephen and I do this regularly. In Toast 10 go to
the Video tab, the one with the clapper board. Then drag the iMovie6
project file into that window. Note, drag just the project file. It
may take a while to copy then away you go. As a matter of course I
always go to File/Save as Disc Image and check the result before
committing to a disk.
