Re: Samsung printer

Hi Ronni,
The light is RED and I have checked and double checked everything I can
find but no joy. Probably time for a new printer.

Regards

John

Re: Samsung printer

2012-05-12 Thread Ronda Brown
Hi John,

I don't really know about Samsung Laser Printers, but as no-one has suggested
anything.

Is the Online/Error light RED or just ON?

If it is RED.
Have you checked:
Is there is a Paper Jam
Front Cover is open
Paper Tray is empty
The Toner Cartridge is out of Toner

If no RED light but on & blinking
You could have pressed the cancel button while the printer was receiving data.
Is there paper in the Manual Feed Tray?

I'm sure you have tried all the above and disconnected the power cable,
connected the power cable and restarted the Printer numerous times.

Cheers,
Ronni

Samsung printer

2012-05-11 Thread John Thompson
I have a Samsung ML-2010 Laser Printer which just recently has decided to go on
strike. The On Line/Error light is constantly showing and will not accept any
incoming print requests.

The latest driver (for 10.7) is installed, all cables have been checked and
replaced if possible and the machine thoroughly inspected (by me).

Does anyone have any suggestions or is this another trip to the shops for a
replacement? My older Canon colour printer has also suffered a fatal breakdown
due to lack of use and Print-Head failure.

Regards
