Re: Speaking of Volumes ?

Hi Ronni.
Thank you and sorry I took so long getting back.

I tried all three volume levels and they are all the same … LOUD !
Odd thing is that "No Voice" works.

If you have any other thoughts they would be welcome.

Re: Speaking of Volumes ?

2019-12-16 Thread Ronni Brown
Hi Stephen,

Open the Settings app on the iPhone and locate “Maps”
Choose the desired volume level found under “Navigation Voice volume”
No Voice – completely mute, provides visual cues for directions only – not
recommended for car use
Low Volume – quiet and can be difficult to hear, only recommended if you have
someone sleeping in the car
Normal Volume – the default choice
Loud Volume – recommended for driving, particularly if you have trouble hearing
the voice turns or if the car is not well insulated for road noise and sound

Kind Regards,
Ronni

Speaking of Volumes ?

2019-12-16 Thread Stephen Chape
Hi folks.

I recently connected Apple Car Play in my Subaru XV with my iPhone 6s.
So I could try the Apple Maps Sat Nav function.

When Siri gave her first instruction she almost blew me out of the car.
I have tried adjusting the Car Volume and also adjusting the iPhone Volume.
But neither has any effect.

Does anyone have any idea where this volume control is please ?
It seems to be independent of other controls.

Regards,
Stephen Chape
