Hi Kevin, Look at the - System Preferences Accessibility, then click 'Mouse Trackpad'. Make sure Mouse Keys is OFF. If Mouse a keys is ON, pressing keys in the numeric keypad moves the pointer instead of entering a number. Ronni, I followed your instructions, but the mouse key was off and I changed nothing. Just now tried the numerical keypad and it now works Thanks for your input, but I really don’t know how it happened as I had made no changes to preferences.
