 Have fun,

A couple of great features of Google Spreadsheets is that it can import and
export Excel files as well as allowing you to set a spreadsheet as shared to
allow people you work with to edit and add information. I've been using it
for months and it's very cool.

2006-09-24 Thread Robert Howells

Good Morning !

Thanks to those who responded and here is a summary of the
suggestions :-

mesa3, http://www.plsys.co.uk/mesa.htm

Mariner Calchttp://www.marinersoftware.com/sitepage.php?page=14

Pyramid 1.6.4	http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Word-Processing/
Pyramid.shtml

 NeoOffice: http://www.neooffice.org/

Ragtime Solo like Appleworks and has desktop publishing
facilities and a spreadsheet.

tables is still in beta http://www.x-tables.eu/

Appleworks will not convert / handle multiple Excel worksheets !

That is a lot more than I imagined .Mariner Calc is very close to
Excel !
The makers also produce Mariner Word which I find to be
EXCELLENT .
It's simple , has some features , but does not keep telling you how
to write .

Individually Mariner Write Mariner Worde are $50 US , but a
combined package is $80 .

Cheers

Bob
