Assalamu'alaikum, Ada nama nabi yang dikisahkan dalam al-Qur'an, ada yang tidak dikisahkan. (4:164; 40:78) Yang dikisahkan/disebutkan atau tidak dikisahkan/disebutkan, kedua- duanya tidak boleh dibeda-bedakan dan harus diimani oleh orang Islam. (2:136, 285; 4:150-152; 4:136) Yang dikisahkan/disebutkan dalam Qur'an jumlahnya ada 27, yaitu Adam, Idris, Nuh, Hud, Shaleh, Ibrahim, Luth, Yunus, Ismail, Ishaq, Ya'qub, Yusuf, Luqman, Ayyub, Syu'aib, Musa, Harun, Alyasa', Dzulkifli, Uzair (Ezra), Daud, Zakaria, Sulaiman, Ilyas, Yahya, Isa, dan Muhammad. Yang tidak dikisahkan/disebutkan dalam Qur'an tentu saja jumlahnya banyak, dan salah satunya adalah Siddharta "Buddha" Gautama yang diutus oleh Tuhan di Hindustan sebagai juru terang bagi kaum Hindu - jika Anda mau mengimaninya.
