[wtr-general] Way to clear the browser cache?

2010-08-07 Thread Jeff Fry
Hey y'all, does watir have a way to clear the browser cache? Either
cross-browser, or specific to a given browser?

Thanks,

Re: [wtr-general] Re: Watir on Windows, how is it done anymore?

2010-08-07 Thread Charley Baker
That's the basic idea. There are a lot of changes, some in api between the
implementations. Obviously there are several fixes that we'd like to take
in, but the core contributors been busy lately with daily work. :) Speaking
for myself, this past week has been the first entire week I've been home in
the past couple of months. I'm hoping to have some more time and a bit of
balance coming up soon. I believe there's enough in the current trunk to
justify a release soon, likely including some additional fixes after we hash
through the current state of bugs and prioritize - for instance, Jarmo has
some pull requests that I still need to look at as well.

I'll see if I can hook up with the other core contributors soon and have a
more official idea of where we stand. In the meantime, don't hesitate to
vote up issues in Jira, ask questions, and make suggestions. I'm hoping to
be on IRC more as well, so feel free to ping me there.

Cheers,

Charley Baker

As i understood from the previous discussions then Ethan was unable to
provide the changes made in Vapir as a small chunks so they could be
merged into Watir's main branch in small steps and have some overview
of the changes made.

Ethan, can you shed some light on this one?
