I wanted to let everyone in the Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky area that Newton Monroe better known as Don Rickles will be appearing at Belterra Casino in Vevay, Indiana in October. If you're speaking of the lady who ran away from the Miracle Salve gang, I believe she was shown moving a table along with another lady at the beginning of the rose story. She also was riding with her husband, a man with a real nice voice, in a convertible that stopped in front of Frank Myers' newly-refurbished house, thinking it was Elm City and inquired about a hotel in our charming city! Anyone who drives north on 52 toward Mt. Airy should take notice when in Winston Salem. Just a little ways past the ramp for Business 40, on the right, look quick, you can see a sign for Frank Meyers Auto Sales. Don't know if the show got his name from the business or the business got the name from the show. lecture tribute to Don Knotts
Hello fellow Mayberrians, Wanted to say we had a good time at Mayberry Days. However, we missed the tribute to Don Knotts. We thought There'd be one in the Colonel Tim's show like they had last year For Howard Morris. Needless to say, we went to Colonel Tim's in the afternoon, And found out the tribute was in the cinema at the same time. So, we'd like to know if by any chance anyone taped the lecture and would be willing to Let us pay for a copy?
