Then when she said yes, they lean into kiss and everyone would jump between them with hugs, back pats and handshakes.*** I thought about that too. The only thing I would add is, Andy apologizes to Helen at some point and says this isn't what he had in mind, he wanted a quiet evening, just the two of them. Helen says she understands, but says Then again, look around, and everyone is having the time of their lives. Aunt Bee is serving pie, Howard is amazing Floyd (or Emmett) with some story, someone's playing a musical instrument, perhaps Goober is cracking people up with an imitation...Then Helen says I almost think I wouldn't have it any other way. Is there anything from The Andy Griffith Show in that Smith Brothers Institution? I know they have stuff like Archie and Edith's chairs from All in the Family and Fonzie's leather jacket. Rafe Hollister Sings
Hey again, Mayberrians! I was watching Rafe Hollister Sings. I am not sure if that was his real voice or not, but the singing sounds great. On the song That Lonesome Road (I guess that of the song..lol,) Rafe sounds a little bit like Elvis Presley. As you know, Elvis could really sing some great gospel songs. Movie Makin'
I'm in Upstate South Carolina and George Clooney has the place all astir with a new movie he's making around here. He stars in it along with Renee Zellwegger. Shooting is starting next week so we're getting reports of star sightings around town. But I'm not so sure I trust 'em. Is it just my imagination, many years removed, but was Jacksonville ever mentioned in a TAGS episode? Seems like, in one of the high school reunion shows, that a character was referred to as having moved to Jacksonville. Andy color episodes
I thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth on the issue. I broke out a couple of the color seasons this past week and watched them. I personally think Andy had to act this way because of the people around him acted so... well to put it nicely moronic at times. I mean you have to treat Otis,Howard,Goober and at times Floyd like children.I don't mean to upset anyone but I hope you can see my point. I wonder what Nurse Peggy's (Joanna Moore) first reaction would be if she saw her son's girlfriend's eye?
