I know this has been talked about before but I am trying to find the TAGS theme to download to my cell phone for a ringtone. A Mayberry moment
I was helping my 11-year old pack his lunch for school this morning. He's been taking chili-cheese flavored potato chips the last few days, and here's how the conversation went: Dad: Do these chips really taste like chili and cheese? I just caught a rerun of "Happy Days" with Jack (Howard)Dodson as Ralph Malph's father. I didn't realize that he and Ron Howard got to work together on this show. Tagging the Governors car
Thinking here. Nowadays its our cars that are insured and not the driver. Back in the days of Mayberry Im not sure. Wasnt it the other way around? Why was the ticket that Barney written out addressed to the Governors car " that was parked where it shouldnt" and not the driver of the Governors car ? Ringtone..
I never could get my phone, ring tone stores, etc to be compatible as to where I could download the theme. I tried every which unto to Sunday but just couldn't do it... Finally a doctor friend of ours used his PDA or something like ( a little hand held device that records) to record the theme from the TV. He then sent it to my cell phone, and I saved it as a ring tone. It works great!! I have the ringer set to "loud" (because my hearing ain't want it use to be) and I cannot believe how many folks comment on it. Such as "I love that show" or "they sure don't make wholesome shows them like that anymore", and so forth... Mayberry Travel / Ring Tones
On the Mayberry Travel Subject; Would Otis' cow that he thought was a horse count? On the ringtones: If the phone is web ready we have all our sound files (including the theme song) in mp3 format so they can be used for ring tones on many of the newer phones.
