Didn't Gomer attribute his singing voice to a high roof in his mouth? If so, I just watched John Barrymore in Svengali. He is a voice teacher and takes a pretty young gal who really can't sing and hynotizes her into singing good enough to tour Europe on stage. Bathroom scenes
About the bathroom scenes, another one is when Gomer is a houseguest and he does the funny scene gargling and makeing all kinds of noises. I always get laughed at here at home as I do the same thing. The water gets down further if you have a sore throat. The noise I make well,,, who knows why. I have also been known to do voice noises or excerises as Barney does when he gets ready to sing. It is true a person should warm up before singing.
