Re: WBMUTBB Digest, Vol 16, Issue 212
Hello all, the Book Complete Angler by Issak Walton is a great read. It is a short book. But very wise. He proceeds to tell a !young friends how to fish for certain fish. It has a few funny moments too. Everyone should take some time to read it. Harriet and Bee
Could everyone get on the same page regarding the correct spelling of Aunt Bee? Or as some clever sole mentioned a while back. I before E except after C and E before E in Aunt Bee. Well, Harriet has a BEE in her bonnet again! Ha! Leave it to Harriet to uphold the integrity of Aunt Bee's name. She always rises to her defense. You go, girl! grin Thelma Lou (Janet) ___ WBMUTBB mailing list WBMUTBB@wbmutbb.com http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
Ammonia/Freon
To find out how the first ammonia cooling went, Google Icey Ball and it will not only show you one but tell you how it works. I have one in my shed my father's family used way back when, but the 'cage' part is missing. It was in very bad shape when I went there about 30 years ago and found it lying in the front yard, so brought it home, made a new wooden handle, put some of it back together with Bondo, cleaned the rust off and painted it. So it does resemble one somewhat, and is an interesting conversation piece! Ammonia had to be heated to make it cold!! I understand old man Kelsey still uses one!!
