I have often thought of quitting my job and moving to Pittsburgh to learn how to cook Chinese dishes like Charlie Lee. Battle of Mayberry
Opie's essay submission to the newspaper telling the "real story" of the Battle of Mayberry has always been a sore spot within my family. After the governor's radio address, I forgave him but most of my family is still upset to this day. My grandfather and great uncle were both colonels in the militia and were the main heroes of the battle...don't believe any other versions you hear!
