I, for one, value everyone's opinion and find it interesting to hear which episodes were felt to be not on track with the general Mayberry theme. If someone finds that too negative, then just skip it. I don't want to bend the rules of saying good things about our beloved hometown but I feel a discourse now and then on our least favorite episodes is not too much to bear. I guess I didn't think much about it when I responded with my least favorite episode being any episode without Barney, but Dan Goodwin brings up a great point. Our focus should be on discussing all the positive aspects of TAGS (which are almost endless) and the various nuances that made for such an amazing show. Rimshaw House
I've always been fascinated by the Rimshaw House and love the episode. Why would such a stately house would be allowed to go into such disrepair? How long had it been vacant and what ever happened to it? Beyond the episode itself, I wonder if the set had been used again, either on TAGS or other TV shows. I don't recall seeing it again. Least favorite episode
When I asked about least favorite episodes, it was not my intent to offend anyone or bring any negativity to this site. My wife and I are huge TAGS fans and we have always enjoyed this site. I was just curious as I figured each of us has his or her favorite episodes as well as least favorites. I enjoy hearing some discussion on different topics regarding TAGS as well as the occasional trivia question. After all, if we were all talking face to face wouldn't some of these issues come up? It seems like there are a lot of "alumni sighting" posts which is ok, but I like to hear opinions and discussion about other things that are TAGS related. Again I meant no disrespect to Mr. Newsome and all of the TAGS fans on this sight. Well, friends, I think WBMUTBB Digest, Vol 17, Issue 41 is deserving of an honor: Most Negativity in a Single Issue.
